Favicon – Setup your own favicon logo for the browser address bar
Its very simple to setup a favicon logo for the browsers address bar.
All you need is a very small image such as a 16X16 jpeg. It does work with other images roughly around this side but I chose this size as I have used it before and it worked.
You then need to save the image as a jpeg and rename the file extension from e.g: “favicon.jpeg” to “favicon.ico” this will make it an icon file.
The new “favicon.ico” file you have created needs to be uploaded to you FTP webhosting root directory. (Root meaning the first directory that comes up where you store all the files.)
Commonly the root will be known as “public_html” and if so the favicon.ico  should be uploaded to: “public_html/favicon.ico/”
