Overseas Charges for Credit and Debit Cards

Recently purchasing Google Drive 100GB for $1.99 plus Taxes ($2.59 /£1.51) cost me a “NON SELLING PURCHASE FEE” of £1.25. This cost was almost as expensive as the service I was paying for!

I looked into this and this is because my bank Santander have an overseas fee they charge for Debit Cards like most other banks.

So my next idea was to try the Santander Zero Credit Card as it states the fee is “NIL” so this shall be interesting.
